Refund and rescheduling policy
These terms apply to professional audit and review engagements with White Pine Ledger Review. They do not describe product returns or physical shipping — we do not sell goods.
Eligibility
Refunds relate to deposits and fees paid for scoped engagements such as Ledger & Control Audits, Settlement Trail Reviews, Pre-Licence Control Readiness, and Board Pack Finance Reviews. Website browsing is free and not refundable.
Deposit
A thirty percent deposit confirms your start date. The deposit is credited toward the engagement fee. It becomes non-refundable once evidence intake has begun or the start date is within five business days, except where we cancel.
Full refund
You receive a full refund of amounts paid if we cancel the engagement before field testing begins, or if we cannot staff the agreed start date and you decline a proposed alternative within ten business days.
Partial refund
If you cancel in writing more than ten business days before the agreed start date, and intake has not begun, we refund amounts paid minus an administrative fee of ten percent of the deposit (minimum TWD 5,000) for scoping time already spent. If intake has begun but field testing has not, we refund the unused portion after deducting documented intake hours at the rates in the engagement letter.
Non-refundable items
Fees for work already performed — including sample selection, interviews completed, draft findings, and delivered memoranda — are non-refundable. Rush uplifts for board-pack reviews are non-refundable once the challenge pass has started. Third-party costs pre-approved by you (for example, certified translations) are non-refundable once incurred.
Work already started
Once field testing begins, cancellation ends the engagement at the next logical stop. You remain responsible for fees for completed stages. We will deliver workpapers completed to date if fees for those stages are paid.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once without charge if you give at least seven business days’ notice and an alternative date within sixty days is mutually available. Later or repeated reschedules may require a new deposit or an updated fee if scope has changed.
No-shows
If your team misses a confirmed on-site day or kickoff call without twenty-four hours’ notice, we may charge for the reserved day and rebook subject to availability.
Client delays
If required ledger or partner files do not arrive within the intake window stated in the engagement letter, we may pause the calendar. Extended pauses beyond thirty days may be treated as a cancellation under the partial-refund rules above, unless we agree a written extension.
Refund process and timing
Email refund requests to hello@streamlinedcloud.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed within fourteen business days to the original payment method where possible.
